Mariyam Nafees At Her Candid Best.
We were lucky enough to have a conversation with this beautiful person who has just started her career in the Paksitani entertainment industry. Not only she is beautiful, she comes across as a very fun loving and jolly person. We want our audience to know her a little more than how she appears on the screen, obviously because on the screen she is just playing a character that has been written by someone else. Here is a look into how she appears to be in her real life.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
To read, watch shows, spend time with FnF
What`s your one annoying habit?
My mommy hates that I’m a night owl on break days
What would be a good theme song for your life?
You mean the room-entering-hair-flowing theme song? Pocket full of sunshine – Natasha Bedingfield
If you weren’t an actor/model, what would you be upto right
I would be designing houses and/or running a restaurant
What are your plans for marriage?
Hahaha, isn’t my mommy enough to nag me about this, now you too? Soon InshAllah!
You must`ve been interviewed several times- what`s the one
question you wished someone would have asked you, but never did?
Ummm, how many meals do I take in a day? So people would actually know that I don’t starve to death to stay the way I am. I’m actually a true-hardcore foodie. I believe in exerting but not in diets so there is NO diet plan ladies. Live to Eat – Mantra!
Do you believe that being famous is both a blessing and a
Definitely but more of a blessing. It’s just the privacy and made-up part that’s annoying at times.
Do you change the way you look when you go out, like to the
I can roam around the city in pj’s all day, everyday. If I don’t feel like changing, I don’t.
What do you think is the best character you have played so
The best is to be decided by the viewers but the difficult most was ‘Rija’ in Haya Kay Daman Main. The character graph was the trickiest part and my director constantly needed switch of moods. So, that was difficult and interesting.
Im sure you have heard about the on going tensions between
India and Pakistan. What do you think about the ban game that’s being played by
both the sides?
See, the thing is we Pakistani’s never initiate the ban-game. We believe in peace and are firm believers that art and sports shouldn’t be dragged into politics but whenever we hear about the slightest bit of tension on PAK-INDIA border, India refuses to play cricket with us, their extremists threaten our artists, and we face quite a lot of hurdles when it comes to screening our movies in India anyway. So, I think it’s only fair that we maintain our dignity and ban their films and shows, and refuse to play cricket with them in return. We’re no less than anybody and it should be a two-way street.
I think it’s only fair that we maintain our dignity and ban their films and shows, and refuse to play cricket with them ..
My baba never told me how this industry works, probably because he wanted me and Shehzad to learn it all by ourselves.
The awareness is increasing day by day. I think few people watch morning shows and they generally like to watch informat..
I`d like to develop my character beyond the stigma and stereotype..
